Dear Comrades,
The New Peru Friendship Association sends its
warm revolutionary greetings from the USA to the conference in
celebration of the XX Anniversary of the Founding of the RIM
and to its organizers, the Peru People's Movement, a generated
organization of the Communist Party of Peru. We extend these
greetings to the People's War of Peru, the vanguard of the people's
wars, to the other people's wars in Nepal and Turkey, and to
the other communists waging armed struggles who work hard to
develop them into people's war, like the comrades in India. We
also give our greetings to the other parties and organizations
who are participating in and supporting this conference, which
we see as yet another important step forward in the reunification
of the communists on a world level, a step that has come through very
hard work on the part of some of the best sons and daughters of the
people.
The RIM has played an important role in the development of the
International Communist Movement; we are also conscious that
it is not the International, but a step in the reunification
of the communists on a world level. And the struggle to impose
Maoism as command and guide of the world proletarian
revolution has already begun to bear fruit, as comrades around the
world take formation in the ranks of world people's war.
In accordance with the call for the conference, we think that the two
inseparably united tasks, to impose Maoism as command and guide of the
world proletarian revolution, and to defend the life of Chairman
Gonzalo, are an indispensable part of this anniversary
celebration, because this is what differentiates the Maoists
from the revisionists. The campaign to defend the life of
Chairman Gonzalo is the litmus test—the communists love him
and the revisionists hate him.
Here in the USA the proletariat does not have its party. As is
generally the case, imperialism, reaction and revisionism try
to prevent this from happening, because they fear their fate
in the dustbin of history. Here in this country we have a
particularly strong odor coming from the revisionists, who
have failed the litmus test time and again, from their spreading of
the hoax of the so-called “peace letters” to their “reporting” of the
new hoaxes of “hunger strike” and “new trial” while our Great Leader is
being murdered in the dungeons of the old Peruvian state.
This quasi-party headed by the chieftain Bob Avakian does not only
spread capitulation abroad, but here at home they, in
practice, support the Yankee elections, while mascarading as
the “American Maoists”, while negating Maoism at every turn,
and even stooping so low as to attack the one who has defined
Maoism. What they fear most of all is the iron legions of the
proletariat who will march over them. As the Great Lenin said, “The
most dangerous of all in this respect are those who do not wish to
understand that the fight against imperialism is a sham and
humbug unless it is inseparably bound up with the fight
against opportunism.”
This conference is yet another milestone for the proletariat and
people's of the world, serving to impose Maoism as command and
guide of the world revolution and serving the defense of the
life of Chairman Gonzalo, and we once again extend our great
revolutionary-sprited salute to the comrades present and have
full conviction that it will lead to even greater achievements
in both the short and long term.
